School of Distinguished Instruction 2019

September, 2019 – St. Margaret School was acknowledged for Distinguished Instruction in academic growth as determined by an analysis of the Normal Curve Equivalent scores of two consecutive years on school wide standardized testing.  If a class has the same NCE as the previous year, they have shown a full year’s growth. St. Margaret faculty are commended on efforts keeping the students at 100% growth at every grade level tested in every content area. Other awards were received in the diocese for those school who were successful for 95% or 90%. St. Margaret School performs in the top 23% of those Archdiocese school receiving the Distinguished Instruction awards reporting 100% growth over two consecutive years school wide.  

Since 1922, St. Margaret School, Narberth as a Philadelphia Archdiocese elementary school has served our pairsh and more recently the local area parishes successfully continuing our mission in faith education, academic excellence and service toward others.  Through our parents, alumni and past parents we continue to provide funding for basic and innovative resources within our school.  Strengthening the annual appeal to alumni, and friends of St. Margaret School directly impacts our students while minimizing tuition increases.  Corporate and business support as well as alumni drives our annual fund each year.
